I'm new to Launch Cart and I cannot see anywhere where this is available. If I create a category and add subcategories to it then add the main category to my menu/navigation bar I would like the option for the subcategories to show as a drop down menu when the user hovers over the main category. From what I can see this is not available and this is something that is used on pretty much every ecommerce store.
Also, if I link a menu to a certain category page it shows all of the categories on the side bar when they visit that page. It would be good if you could check/uncheck which categories I want shown. For example if a customer clicks the mens category page you can choose for it to only show the subcategories for the Mens section. Instead of having all categories (Mens, Womens, Kids, Accessories etc) and all the subcateories shown which can look very cluttered if you have a lot of subcateories in total. It also doesn't put the category you've chosen at the top so for example.. if a customer wanted to look at the kids section after choosing it from the menu bar they will have to scroll past all the other categories and subcategories before it to navigate to the category they've just chosen to explore.
